Asia NGO Jobs Vacancies The MENTOR Initiative is looking for a highly motivated and skilled person to join their emergency team and to help lead the work of the organization in Syria to bring under control a Leishmaniasis epidemic that is currently severely affecting the population living in and around Aleppo.
You will be working as part of a specialist disease control team, and will be responsible for logistical support to the MENTOR technical team who are involved in planning, capacity building and delivery of integrated vector control programmes in high transmission areas of the city and surrounding towns and villages to protect highly vulnerable communities.
You will be responsible for office / accommodation set up, procurement, shipping and ground transport, management of a local support team and its services, security and stock management. You will also have at least 3 years field experience as logistician in emergency settings - preferably with medical/ insecticide commodities have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working in a team.
